Sea transfers are not recommended during the months of May to October due to weather conditions and lively seas.

Si el catamarán/yate no puede navegar debido a las condiciones meteorológicas, Cousine Island no se hace responsable del alojamiento en Mahé, Praslin, Cousine Island o cualquier otra isla. Se aconseja a los clientes que contraten un seguro de viaje para esta posibilidad.

Por aire

Los traslados en helicóptero pueden reservarse directamente con Cousine Island.

Rates are provided for EC 120 1-4 passengers. These rates are non-commissionable. Quotations for helicopter transfers to and from other destinations can be obtained upon request from Cousine Island.

A combined maximum passenger & baggage weight of 400kg is allowed. Please be advised that additional helicopter transfer charges will be incurred for overweight baggage. These transfers are subject to helicopter availability.

El traslado en helicóptero entre Mahé y Cousine dura aproximadamente 17-20 minutos, y el de Praslin a Cousine unos 5 minutos. Los tiempos de las excursiones en helicóptero para ver la isla varían.

Se pueden solicitar tarifas para los traslados en helicóptero a la isla de Cousine y las visitas turísticas a las Seychelles

INFORMACIÓN IMPORTANTE

If the catamaran/yacht or helicopter transfer/excursion booked is cancelled due to weather conditions, Cousine Island cannot be held liable for overnight accommodation on Mahé, Praslin, Cousine Island or any other island. Clients are advised to take out travel insurance for such a possibility. All transfers to and excursions from Cousine Island must be booked directly through Cousine Island reservations.

Payment & Cancellation

Aceptación de los términos y condiciones

Si decide aceptar las condiciones de pago establecidas a continuación, estos términos y condiciones constituyen un acuerdo legalmente vinculante entre usted, ya sea personalmente o en nombre de una entidad ("usted") y Cousine Island.

Política de pagos

The following payment policies have been implemented:

  • More than 120 days prior to travel: 20% of the total booking value is payable to Cousine Island and is non-refundable to confirm a booking.

  • Between 120 and 90 days prior to travel: 50% of the total booking value is payable to Cousine Island and non-refundable to confirm a booking.

  • Within 90 days and less to travel: 100% of the total booking value is payable to Cousine Island and non-refundable to confirm a booking.

  • No show: 100% of the total booking value will be charged & payable to Cousine Island and non-refundable.

  • In the event that clients would need to reschedule their booking, they may do so within 12 months of their original booking and 90 days prior to original travel.

  • Applies to all online bookings.

Política de cancelación

Guests are kindly advised to purchase a travel insurance policy covering refunds of cancellation deposit and payments.

The following Cancellation fees are levied when guests cancel confirmed reservations:

  • In the event that clients would need to reschedule their booking, they may do so within

  • 12 months of their original booking and 90 days prior to original travel.

  • Applies to all online bookings.

Currencies

The Euro will be used as the currency to determine the rates for Cousine Island. All major foreign currencies outlined by Cousine Island will be accepted for payment, which will be converted to the Euro on presentation of the final invoice for payment and exchanged at an accepted international exchange rate determined by major financial institutions at the time of presentation of the final invoice.

Payment for Expenses

THAT OCCUR ON COUSINE ISLAND CAN BE SETTLED AS FOLLOWS:

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or cash in any major foreign currency accepted by Cousine Island. All extras to be settled in the office at least 90 minutes prior to departure. All credit card transactions will incur a 3%-5% surcharge applied to the TAX inclusive total on the invoice at the point of payment upon departure

INFORMACIÓN IMPORTANTE

  • Cuando se haya pagado un depósito y la reserva sea posteriormente cancelada por Cousine Island debido a la falta de pago del saldo pendiente, el depósito pagado se perderá para Cousine Island.

  • En el caso de que una reserva sea cancelada por el cliente por cualquier motivo, dicha cancelación deberá realizarse por escrito y sólo será efectiva una vez que Cousine Island acuse recibo por escrito de la notificación de cancelación. En tal caso, el agente será responsable de los gastos de cancelación incurridos.

  • En caso de no llegar o de cancelar después de la fecha de salida, Cousine Island tendrá derecho a considerar la reserva como cancelada sin previo aviso y se aplicará el 100% del precio del viaje como tasa de cancelación (incluyendo la repatriación y cualquier gasto administrativo en el que incurra Cousine Island como resultado de dicha cancelación, incluyendo pero no limitándose a las cancelaciones por enfermedad o lesión). En tal caso, Cousine Island aplicará su criterio si existen circunstancias atenuantes.

  • All extra services booked and including transfers, entertainment, purchases of goods on behalf of clients will incur their full rate or cancellation deposit.

  • Should extra services be cancelled and the accommodation booking maintained, all extra services booked will incur their full rate or cancellation deposit.

  • EXCURSIONS BOOKED THROUGH COUSINE ISLAND

    All excursions and activities booked through Cousine Island are non-commissionable.

  • TOURISM LEVY

    Kindly be informed that the Government of Seychelles has implemented a Tourism Environment Sustainability Levy, applicable as of 01st August 2023 payable directly to the hotel as follows; - SCR 25.00 Small Hotels//SCR75.00 Medium-sized hotels//SCR100.00 Large Hotels, per person per night. Children under 12 years will be exempt from the levy.

DAMAGES TO COUSINE ISLAND PROPERTY

  • At check-in, all guests are required to provide Cousine Island with electronic payment information. An inspection will take place on check-out date, and all damages will be recorded for the benefit and sight of the guests in question.

  • Damages to Cousine Island property will be payable, and Cousine Island is authorised to charge the amount owing to the electronic payment method provided for by the guest in question, prior to guests departure from Cousine Island to satisfy the costs of damage.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY

  • Cousine Island will not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the performance or non-performance of this agreement.
